Dencity skate
Blessing Ewona launched Dencity Skate, Nigeria's first skateboarding group specifically for women, in 2020, who was told skateboarding was only for boys and white people. Today, Dencity is a vibrant collective that strives to create spaces where women and members of other marginalized communities can try the sport without judgment.
