THE VIBE:THE ART OF EATING OUT
As the legendary actor Robert Duvall once said, “Getting together with friends and holding court over a meal is one of the great things in life.” Truthfully, there are few better things than eating. Sitting outside, enjoying the ambiance, the service, the good food, and the feeling of being out. Here’s how we like to do it.

Earlier this year, we collaborated on a talk at our VINNY’s Readers Club event at Restaurant Bobe in Copenhagen, with author Raven Smith as our guest. Following the discussion, we did a short interview with Emmanuel and captured some shots of him in a few of his VINNY’s favorites. Not only is he a great energy, but his style and talent are effortless.

THE PRE-DINNER DRINK
A great meal starts with the aperitivo. Why not start with a negroni? This beautiful, red drink consists of three ingredients that don’t taste well on their own but, when mixed, are pure perfection. Not sure how to make one? Allow Anthony Bourdain to explain.

A GOOD LOOKING SPOT
A few years ago, Architectural Digest visited the chef (and co-star ofThe Bear) Matty Matheson in his newly opened restaurant in Toronto. Talk about a place we’d like to eat. The place looks absolutely stunning. Oh, and so does the food.

THE JOY OF EATING OUT ALONE
A great piece fromTown And Country Magazine about the joy of traveling solo. “I’m here for something that has almost nothing to do with sights, monuments, museums, restaurants, nature, or even people and their customs. What I’m looking for is more in me than outside of me, just as sitting in this café allows me not to stop time but to distend it, to dispel all my thoughts and indulge in the eros of something unusual.”

A NO-FRILLS DINER IN LONDON
